Itā€™s the time of year where I have it relearn how to walk on my hardwood floors while wearing socks so I donā€™t slip and kill myself.

I posted this on here & X. I got 30x the amount of engagement on here despite having only 15% of the followers. Itā€™s a sign of both how cool you all are, and what a broken disinformation platform X has become.

Hey friends. I'm looking for an indexer for my forthcoming book on white evangelicals in the early 20th century. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Someone familiar with US Religious history would be ideal. And please share widely as I'm still building a community here! Thanks!

The latest on the human remains found at my kid's school. Apparently they are the result of a mass grave dug in 1849 for those who died during a cholera outbreak. It's the fourth--FOURTH--remains were found during construction. onmilwaukee.com/articles/mar...

For at least the fourth time, bones have turned up during excavation on the site of Maryland Avenue Montessori School on Milwaukee's East Side.

A voicemail from my kid's school letting me know that they found human remains on the property while building a greenhouse was NOT on my school year bingo card.

For me itā€™s Lamarā€™s Donuts in KC. The MKE donut scene is super weak. Everything is either incredibly overdone or incredibly bland. Lamarā€™s was solid on everything. Old fashioned sour cream donuts were the best.
