The girl can physically erase things, but she can also erase memories, ideas, and concepts. The man is able to turn back time because restoration means to restore something to a previous state! Both of them will do fucky, fourth-wall things with the comic itself :)
You're a little right! there exists in this universe ten Abstracts - all-encompassing concepts that keep the physical world running. There are always ten living people that have control over these concepts and whatever they can mean, pretty much. The girl is Erasure and the man is Restoration!
