Same here but with the Vietnam War. I never heard anything about our invasions of surrounding countries, nor about our decision to ignore Pol Pot’s genocide in Cambodia (HS history in early 90s). Didn’t learn about any of this until I visited Cambodia years later & saw the killing fields myself. 😞

Totally seeing this in my students. They have no idea how to navigate or search for information on websites, no understanding of how to download/store/locate files. Even cloud services are a mystery despite growing up w/ Google docs. I hate that I’m forced to teach this in my classes.
