The aurora forecast is really good again tonight, even for lower latitudes! If you've got clear skies, try to go out and look for it! As someone who's seen the northern lights a half-dozen times in the past two years, here is a little thread of my tips on how to get your best odds of a good show:

First off, learn to read the NOAA SWPC forecast! The forecast comes in two time scales: 1. a three-day forecast based on observations of solar activity 2. a one-hour forecast based on measurements from a probe at L1 Here is the link to a page with both of them: www.swpc.noaa.gov/communities/...
