If you like this fact, you might also like that the ocean is detectable on seismometers anywhere in the world. Even in the furthest inland places, the ground is shaking just a little tiny bit from wave action in the ocean.

The Earth is like a ball of jelly. I remember in the 80s hearing audio on my scanner radio from a seismometer on an Earthquake channel in Southern California. This particular quake was in the Palm Springs area and that shaking tone went on for 20 - 30 minutes before I turned the radio off.
