Are they cutting the mics on candidates, too? I thought I heard they were just muting the mics of the moderator/facilitator. I don’t know that muting the candidates’ mics will stop some from just yelling across the stage. Maybe a glass tube that descends on each candidate when the other is speaking.
Very sorry to hear you lost your friend.
He was!
A couple of years ago I re-watched That Touch of Mink, mistakenly remembering that I liked it. It’s awful.
I’ve gotten Raising Cane’s twice and don’t see how it’s so popular. By the time I get it home, the fries and the Texas toast are cold and soggy. And that is the blandest fried chicken I have ever eaten in my life. They have crinkle fries and coleslaw, and nothing else as a side. So weird.
Biden certainly has the opportunity to turn it around, but I don’t think the people who voted uncommitted, at least in this primary, are the type to vote for the lesser evil. I think many will vote at local and state levels but not for either guy. For Gaza’s sake, I wish he’d act sooner than later.
I read somewhere on here that in exit interviews people who voted uncommitted said they intended to vote for Biden in the general, and democrats are just stupid enough to believe it through October.
I’ve used it here a few times recently. Still not the cesspit the other place is. Also, the other place is practically unusable with the spam and blue checks.
Bluesky isn’t mean, but I’ve seen some policing and scolding here that has made me cringe a few times. I saw a thread where people were one-upping each other listing meme-ish stuff they want people to stop using because it’s not cool anymore.
