Ah okay! I think I understand you better now. I do see how that slant seems to take priority in this case. I think the bigger trouble here is that there is so much lore about Tamriel that isn't in the games overall that chunks of it just wind up missing. iirc, ESO links better that way in this --

I have had so much trouble getting into ESO. A lot of the game doesn’t really feel true-to-lore and I struggle with MMOs in general. Love the resurgence of the Tribunal. But given the structure of ESO, I can appreciate that the historic perspectives would be more diverse. :)
