Completely agree, all the overseas work I did in my 20s and early 30s was great and I couldn't have done it if I'd had kids earlier (first at 34) - but I am a bit sad about being an older grandparent and I won't have the 50s that my parents had (AFAICT basically their 20s but with more money)
My parents were 39 and 45 when they had me, and have only reluctantly decided to give up intercontinental holidays now my father has tipped into his 80s.
