5. Silika is a sleep talker. They have very vivid and wild dreams - which also leads them to speak straight up nonsense. Some of their sayings have lived on as jokes between them and Meera, such as calling their dishwasher Dishwashlosher. Or Dishlosher for short.
4. Silika owns their family's old car, nicknamed Desiree. It is very, _very_ run down and functions out of pure spite. They are very attached and don't want to scrap it, even if it is unreliable at best. It does have an amazing sound systems though, which Silika definitely takes full advantage of.
3. Silika is able to tolerate different temperatures well. Being born in a desert enviroment they don't mind the heat and will gladly wear a sweater during summer, but they also don't get cold easily. Their heat tolerance is better of the two extremes, though.
2. They are nearsighted and have astigmatism, and yet they tend to not wear their glasses if they don't fit the outfit. They don't wear contacts unless in dire situation bc the concept of putting it right into your eye freaks them out.
1. Silika is a notorious transport vehicle sleeper. Be it a bus, a car, a train, even a rattling noisy helicopter - they will be asleep ten minutes in. They find it a bit embarrassing, but they can't help it.

Silika's tentacles tend to stay fairly pigmented by the tips, but the roots fade well. The spots have a pretty strong glow, and Silika also has smaller freckle-like spots that are only visible in the dark/glowing. They tend to sparkle like stars when they're dreaming. :}
