You have to wonder where the ultimatums in the other direction are. Russia gets to act with impunity yet again with no conditions attached. And far from being a detterent to war, nuclear weapons are now routinely used as an umbrella for invasion.
Hasn't Russian state media been insisting they're already at war with NATO since 2022? After all, "We're losing to NATO" is less wounding to Russian national pride than "We're losing to Ukraine."
