Netanyahu does as he wants, and he remains intent on world domination regardless. He had his eye on Lebanon from beginning. It together with Gaza would give him total control of the Mediterranean coastline with the fuel reserves Israel wants. This, for him is about power and money, nothing else.

Of course he isn't, it would make him appear incredibly weak if Israel doesn't respond to the attack.

I dunno - watching live pics over Tel Aviv and that debris field falling out the sky looks very much as if it’s onto built up areas and you can see small explosions as the fragments hit the ground. Perhaps it’s beyond the city limits but hard to tell so far until we get on the ground reporting.

Israeli's should boot him out of office purely on the danger that his actions impose on citizens. The only consequence he recognizes is losing political power. He wields war as a means of maintaining power through fear.
