Why do we have such a hard time convincing/incentivizing industry to change? Us little folk can’t recycle/downsize the planet back to health.
Surely it should be "hangs in the balance"? Otherwise the headline makes it sound like all is well

very very bad, but not surprising to those of us that have been paying attention. Just a shame our leaders aren't. They prefer to send those campaigning to raise attention to prison instead.

Global population expected to peak this century is at least one positive. Seems it's mainly nuts that promote large families these days, at least in places with adequate healthcare. If we started by having one child on average, that'd cut our numbers in half, letting kids be fully loved + supported
The corporate powers, predatory politicians, & governments will do little to nothing in time concerning climate change. I have no confidence of anything different.
