I pubbed a story where a white girl goes on a whole screed full of N-words that's autobiographical and central to the story, and since I'm an old white dude I consulted with a Black reader, and the publication that took it consulted with another, and that was that. Just don't be a bigot.

I live in fear of driving to the nearby VA Clinic and screaming MALINGERERS at the people receiving services in the outpatient clinics.
"I'm afraid of my life being ruined for accidentally saying a slur" has miles of subtext.
