Between this and people insisting on posting owls despite Indigenous complaints, I am not feeling very charitable towards football right now.

I am happy to respect the beliefs of the First Nations. After a few minutes of searching online, I am having problems finding any documented statement of issue with owl pictures or the superbowl meme. Could I get a cite that ties this issue back to a tribe, or a tribal member in some way?
