I think it just comes down to the context of the question 9 times out of 10. Like if someone asks about something your kig has or does, you can respond in the perspective of your kig. But if the question’s instead about something out of the realm of your kig, you should respond in person. 👀

It's different for everyone. Some like the idea of being able to interact with their favourite fictional character IRL, whilst others look at the cosplay side of it. Kig to me will always be a hobby before anything else, and I want to get to know the 'people' I share the love of the hobby with! ❤️
