IMO this is the natural conclusion to "there's no ethical consumption under capitalism" as a means to forgive yourself for not trying to reduce harm. The take is also objectively wrong - a liberal would pretend not to know what Nestlé did. A leftist giving you sideeye is practicing what they preach.
