Him being a "media critic" was the ultimate slap in the face to the NYT's readers, and one of the proximate reasons I stopped my subscription. It's like asking Elon Musk to be a business critic, or Kid Rock to be a music critic.
That entire politico class of like 2008-09 sucks.
