Watched it last night, and yeah, the strength of everyone's personalities was *precisely* what made the fact that they didn't know what they were dealing with interesting!
Will say, in a summer that's been so dense with vibey/atmospheric horror that never really crystalizes into anything solid, it's nice to see a movie that's like "no, it's definitely just a monster trying to kill you"
Casting post-Oppenheimer Hartnett as a murderer who no one clocks as a psychopath because he's a handsome white man is very smart, and I wish the movie did more with that beat
Emma Corrin's actually *great,* but unfortunately she might as well be a cameo as little screen time she gets
