When I was in my early 20s I was precariously housed - in & out of various sublets, squats etc - so I regularly was that person who needed to be taken in by a friend of a friend. Which means that now I’m in the position where I can help people, I’ll always want to do for someone else what other

people did for me - and most of the time it’s been spot on. We’ve had some brilliant people use our spare room - people who’ve helped with the cooking, cleaned up after themselves & just generally treated our place like a home & not a hostel. But there had definitely been a couple of complete twats
