Tangent aside from this frustrating labor, but your "5E14/5E24" is the second permutation of the two (not)editions I've seen in the wild. The other was "5E1E/5E2E". Both are hilariously frustrating to my eyes.

@shawnmerwin.bsky.social (to the best of my knowledge) coined "5E2E," which is what I use when I'm talking about just that one. But "5E14/5E24," which I'm sure I'm not the first to use, seems to work better in comparative contexts.
