is this not the precedent going back to Nixon? if presidents are going to jail for crimes committed in office when is Obama being held responsible for his extrajudicial killings of US citizens and Bush for his coup of the 2000 election

Obama and Bush were not charged with any crimes, so they didn't need pardons. Pardoning Nixon's pardon is unique

If we actually applied the law, every former President would live the rest of their life in jail.
