Unfortunately too many of the most vulnerable DONT vote for THEIR own best interests.

That's what I always say. I do quite well under every government. My livelihood is never under threat. I'm happy to pay higher taxes. I vote for those who have very little or who deserve better.
So, I think a fair number of white dudes do this, because the only other _people_ they know are white dudes. The other human beings in their lives they fail to understand as people. I don't know what to do about that, actually.
This is difficult because the most vulnerable person I can think of right now is a Palestinian in Ghazza and both candidates are pro-genocide. Voting is not enough.
