Quite: UK government bought out all vaccines made in UK (& ensured no vaccines would leave UK). EU had a "everyone play nice" approach (exporting vaccines internationally)- until AZ started reneging on EU contract to supply UK contract. Of note, UK relied solely on EU to supply Pfizer (under 40s)

hence EU faster with Pfizer roll out - & had EU not played nice,UK would've been even further behind fully vaccinating population. UK's approach to AZ:"I keep all vaccines produced in our state- but we share (& I want preferential access) to the vaccines produced in your state" -& prepp'd to steal
