Have a friend who unfortunately surround themselves in doomscrolling. So much so that I archive the Telegram chat that they host because most of the chat is just about bad news and things. It's honestly pretty toxic x.x

That's so valid, it's objectively too much and something that we genuinely aren't capable of. And we've put out this unwritten expectation that you MUST be aware of every specific of every bad thing, so we push ourselves to do so. I fall into that trap sometimes myself, but hope I'm getting better
