but before 80s OR 90s nostalgia was a big thing. people thought I was weird for my obsession with 80s stuff. but now that it's so big...well I can see why I was disillusioned, it's really not very similar. fake 90s stuff actually gets close to the 90s as got attention thru direct derivative work
