seeing the thriving open-source community driving this site forward, while still being accessible to your average user, is the single biggest reason for me to put my faith in bluesky. it's the most user-friendly experience I've had with anything in a long time and I want it to succeed
You're so right. I missed tumblr in my younger years and was never able to get into it. Twitter was easy because of the UI and interface, and this feels like a great fucking new start to all of it. I'm really hype. Want this place to succeed so bad.
I'll agree with you once this thing has an iPad app. Having to use these tiny keyboard buttons on a 11" screen fucking sucks...
It feels good to use, but there has to be a feature that sets it apart from other apps. Bluesky doesn't have to be a backup 'just in case anything happens to Twitter'; it needs to be its own app!
