does Zack Snyder know he's allowed to actually direct a movie before the director's cut
Zack "it's not my fault this movie stinks" Snyder: He can never fail. He can only be failed by everyone else. Every time.
Step 1: Recognize you can't write a decent screenplay. Step 2: Film and release it anyways, promise the *real* and *better* story can only be shown in a director's cut. Step 3: Release a marginally better cut still lacking in story, but the fanboys rally because the first version was "meddled with."
He could simply start to make good movies as well, so he wouldn’t need to hide behind the “director’s cut”.
