Mud is so therapeutic. There’s some science in there being micro bacteria in soil that actually does make you happier. Gardening and pottery gives me very similar feelings. That dirt smell 👌

With most of my little animal pots, I paint them with Underglaze, once dry, before the first firing. This one however, will most likely be getting a different kind of glaze that goes on after the first fire - so already stone like, but still porous. I’m currently working on carving shapes into it.
