Well, this does not look good. www.wsj.com/tech/cyberse...

A cyberattack tied to the Chinese government penetrated the networks of a wide swath of
U.S. broadband providers, potentially accessing information from systems the federal government uses for court-authorized network wiretapping requests.
For months or longer, the hackers may have held access to network infrastructure used to
cooperate with lawful U.S. requests for communications data, according to people familiar with the matter, which amounts to a major national security risk. The attackers also had access to other tranches of more generic internet traffic, they said.
Verizon, AT&T, and Lumen Technologies are among the companies whose networks were breached by the recently-discovered intrusion, the people said.

I think this is one reason we need To be very wise about younger, very Tech & Nat Sec Leaders as President, Vice President, & many key positions in our Entire Federal SYSTEMS, Especially Cyber Security, & Military. We need brilliant, dedicated people, in many positions .

I think the Chinese & Russian Hackers successes in Cyber Have been very successful; & are hidden by our Fed Gov because they have been so extremely severe. China even more so; because they have more Expert Hackers. Extreme Nat Sec breaches!

Build a system for cops, find out it has no security because you had to make easily used backdoors for cops. Happens every time

I'm sure wontonly violating civil liberties in the PATRIOT Act era surely will have not collected information in a few places vulnerable to harming millions of Americans (and our contacts abroad) at once.
