Oh that is such very sad news. Ian was in the elite and rather rare group of true genuine gentlemen. Super smart, positive, supportive, encouraging, kind, intelligent, always interested, always interesting. It's a huge, huge loss.
This has been heartbreaking news. I remember meeting him when he applied to come to Oxford. He has been a friend ever since. A truly remarkable force for good. 🖤
