I've started to notice that a lot of excellent beginning researchers have an overwhelming sense of "imposter syndrome" (I heard this from several at #AERA24) and shouldn't (they all are or were classroom teachers). What is our field (or society) doing to make them feel this way?

Meanwhile, I have some colleagues that I wish might get a little of that concern about "imposter syndrome." You know the type that I am talking about (many of them were never [or barely] classroom teachers and now do research or policy work telling teachers what they should do).
