If you want to encourage people to vote -- and to vote early -- there ought to be a mechanism by which once you vote you have the ability to block all political ads on your TV.

This would be nice. The one perk you do get is that the campaigns stop contacting you to remind you to vote. (It does not stop the requests for donations though!)
