Some fireworks in the backyard on the Fourth of July. A young Eastern Screech-Owl (Megascops asio) showed up in the early afternoon for a bath. We were thrilled, but Blue Jays -- not so much. Had a lot of jay photobombers. Photographed 07/04/2024
