Yes, and I wish we had something similar. My oldest doesn't have any bad choices ahead, just different pros and cons. I have tried to respond to requests for help rather than dictating the process. It was nice to know I wasn't alone in taking that approach w/ the helicopter parents all around us.

They are everywhere. Ones who stayed in the struggling public schools with us for 13 years and swore they wouldn’t all of a sudden were coughing up thousands of $ for college counselors to get their kids into Duke. None of them got into Duke. But they got into other schools and are doing fine!
