CHSA has just submitted to the Law Commission on Ia Tangata. Link is below. We could be the only submitter who recommends the project team read Gendered/Fucking: The Politics and Pleasures of Living in a Gendered Body by the leading legal scholar Florence Ashley. drive.google.com/file/d/1G9yt...
CHSA will publish our submission to the Law Commission Ia Tangata project about reforming the HRA to explicitly protect transgender people, non-binary people, and people with innate varaitions of sex characteristics tomorrow. (We got an extension.) Keep an eye out!
Final Call for the CHSA submission writing workshop to respond to the Law Comm issues paper on making protections explicit in the HRA for transgender ppl, non-binary ppl, and intersex ppl. It's a zoom at 7pm tonight. DM me or email Paul@chsa.nz for details. It will be 🔥🔥🔥!

Goldsmith just appointed 2 TERFs to the HRC. TERFs are submitting to the Law Comm to deny trans ppl their rights. Farrar is dodgy and working with TERFs. CHSA is leading the fight back! But we need money - CHSA wants to employ people to strengthen the team. Link⬇️ opencollective.com/countering-h...

CHSA hasn't been able to check the NZ Herald back issues, but we think Family First placed the ad there as well. So we have written to NZH as well asking for a correction and an apology to the transgender, non-binary and intersex community for running a dodgy ad from Family First if they did.
CHSA has written to the Dominion Post asking for a correction and an apology to the transgender, non-binary and intersex community for running an ad for Family First using survey data that has now been shown to be unsound by RANZ. RANZ upheld a complaint against Farrar's Curia.
No you're all good
