Hahaha the only person who looks over my shoulder at work while I might be on MetaFilter is a peer who asks me to find things in our old data management system because I'm the only one who knows how to find things there. I think IT just noticed something weird on a day when there was less traffic.

My work just decided to block MetaFilter today... while I was literally reading about something work-related there. Probably nothing I can do about it though since I also read non-work-related things there from time to time.

Mine was worried about Obama becoming president... because she liked him so much and feared he'd be assassinated.

I got some pad thai earlier this week that did come with a lime wedge but the wedge was so dried up that I couldn't actually squeeze out any juice.

I'm so glad that I had a relative's place to evacuate to when I needed to (I lived in Galveston during Hurricane Ike, and evacuated to Central TX).

First live show I went to see after I moved to Austin in 1999! At the time I was annoyed because the friends I went with had been to see The Pietasters not long before that, and not thought to invite me, haha.

I got to pet a Samoyed about a year and a half ago and I'm still in awe! Actually like petting a cloud!
