It confuses me greatly how much the left laments things appropriated by the right, but instantly gives them up and let's it happen. Just roll over, then complain when people don't know a shift occurred because you've blocked it all from view without ever addressing the root cause. Losing strategy.

There's a reason the right is effective in their messaging, and has been for a long time. It's a type of psychological warfare, and the left is abysmal at waging it, because "not-the-right" is not an actual strategy, it's the bare minimum.
