It's always interesting how much science has come down on the benefits of transition for trans people (even if it's dismissed as "low quality"), yet because anti-trans types can never find studies that contradict this, they have to fall back on theoreticals and what might happen at some future date

And so we end up deferring healthcare for trans people because of unscaffolded speculation about a possible sizeable cohort of regretful detransitioners. A cohort not actually identified in any data available, but one that looms large in the propaganda efforts of anti-LGBTQ+ lobby groups.

If that nonsense about "oh 80% desist" was even halfway true, online spaces should be full of thousands of desisters shouting loudly (remember, none of these treatments are new, the first kids through the dutch centre are middle aged now), but, nope, no sign of them in those numbers
