Did my best Down Under here in Aotearoa New Zealand, where it's springtime & couldn't get a #Halloween pumpkin for love nor money. Behold the fattest turnip I could find to carve for Jack-o'-Lantern! Oíche Shamhna shona daoibh!

Was always a swede or turnip in England growing up. Pumpkins just didn’t exist. And - the STRUGGLE to hollow out a bloody swede to get a candle in. The whole thing finally made sense when pumpkins arrived. Piece of piss.
