Peruvian apple cactus or Cereus repandas flowers protrude from a mature columnar cactus. Two fully open, dessert plate Golden centered and Ivory petaled flowers protrude from two different columns of the cactus which is in the front yard of a 1970s era Phoenix Foothills Desert suburban front yard. August 23 2024

My favorite backyard view Blue skies with thin clouds above the very tops of South Mountain Park, from the perspective of a phoenix 1970s era Desert suburban backyard, with all the other ranch homes built right up to the park in the foreground, as well as numerous primly trimmed palm trees popping up in the foreground all the way to South Mountain Park.
