If you are struggling to make art but you don't really know why - analyze how your brain responds to the thought of drawing. If the response you feel is DREAD.... you are burnt out. Stop. Do Not Pass Go. Do Not Work on that Art Piece. You NEED to take a break. Yes it's mandatory. Here's the thing:
I think it's easier for younger artists to think that 2-3 days is slow... especially with the mentality of being a "content creator", which we're not. Once you have work (or several ones) making personal art takes more time (anywhere to weeks or even months.. when you're making finished pieces)
The only thing I got trying to draw faster was wrist pain. 💀 Taking our time is also taking care of ourselves, you may be able to push through when you're young but this stuff catch up to you 🫠
