All true but also true: the insurance company would pay for your bariatric surgery before it would pay for Ozempic. How is that okay?

Bariatric surgery has BMI requirements for insurance coverage (patients need comorbidities from obesity for bariatric surgery at lower BMIs). I feel like ozempic would benefit from similar subtleties in insurance coverage qualifications.
