CITIZEN KANE Really, really glad I gave this a rewatch. It's one of those movies you just can't fully appreciate the first time. Yeah, it's one of the best. You've heard it, everybody else has heard it, because everybody else has said it. And it's true. 10/10
MYSTIC RIVER It's difficult to think of a single element of this film that isn't dragged down by Eastwood's lackluster directing. He just doesn't have the juice. Mystic River is a story carried by its cast and writing, frankly. It feels like Fincher without Fincher. 8/10
