Thanks for your response Rebecca and I look forward to your new book
PS They haven't asked me to ask you, only for my feedback on the day but unfortunately I could not attend. I was actually re-reading parts of your book - "Too Hot to Handle" into the early hours this morning!
Just wondering if you were there for day 2 and whether you have any reflections on that day for the purpose of informing members of Green House Think Tank? (If you have time). www.greenhousethinktank.org
Green House is a think tank founded in 2011. It aims to lead the development of green thinking in the UK.
Really enjoyed your talk and the first panel.
Not really interested in ageing if I could avoid it, but unfortunately not!
George, have you seen this?
«For every pound or dollar spent on persuasion by an environmental charity or newspaper, the oil, chemicals, automotive, livestock and mining sectors will spend a thousand.» Read this, by @georgemonbiot.bsky.socialwww.theguardian.com/commentisfre...
Why have politicians outsourced the most important issue of our time to private agencies and individuals? We can’t do it all, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot
I agree. Problem is that with open source data (although admirable in principle) anyone (with the skills) can use it for what they want. It doesn't feel very safe.
