Too bad this is still somewhat limited - it'd be nice to have this as a backup for when you get pulled over & forgot your physical ID at home - or if you need to show your ID at the club (and am going with just your phone to minimize the chance of losing anything).

The State Department announced Wednesday that its online renewal system is now fully operational, after testing in pilot programs, and available to adult passport holders whose passport had expired within the past five years or will expire in the coming year.
This is AMAZING! It's strange how there's a solution for everything if you look for it... It just takes time & money. Imagine the things we could do if there were more companies like the one cleaning up the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. Willing to invest in landfill reclamation, removing PFAS, etc.
