Literally the best. Our current cat is great, future cats will be great, but I'll always miss him.

An old picture of Frank the cat, gazing up at me in adoration/wanting to climb on my lap. He was technically my brother's cat, but we lived together when he got Frank and even after my brother moved elsewhere Frank would come running whenever I arrived/he heard my voice and demand to be picked up and held for at least the first 30 minutes I was there. He used to hear the sound of my glasses case closing when I'd be going to bed and jump down off of wherever he was perched and come running into the room for our nightly cuddles. He was the best.
