That's what mine did, though eventually extended to 3 months. Still, a cis woman gets 6 monthly hrt if requested.

My wife had to have a word with the GP and get more at a time because having to do it every single month meant she often ran out. If it wasn't for the fact that I've had trouble with the lead times on my repeat prescriptions too I'd assume it was an attempt to prevent her transition
