It comes up a lot in the context of "Why are you focusing on X Issue when Z Issue is obviously so much more pressing!" But there are so many of us and it's okay if some of us pick different battles to prioritize. You're not a hero, you're not the Chosen One, nor is anyone else, and that's great!

I def think social media promotes this thinking: ie, if you aren’t always taking action on every issue, you must not care. That if you aren’t martyring yourself for a cause (& not just any cause, but specifically the cause of the sanctimonious reader), then you’re “part of the problem.”
