The map of an unknown chemical molecule, bordered by abbreviations of various elements, like Li (lithium), He (helium), Kr (Krypton), and so on. Yìchén studies the molecule, which is comprised strictly of hydrogen, carbon, and oxygen in various pairings. He doesn’t recognize the molecule but believes it to be some sort of hygroscopic liquid, perhaps a chelating agent of some kind. Using the vast resources of the Eleventh Bureau, he uncovers an earlier version of this same molecule, buried deep within the archives of a defunct U.S. company, ParaMorTorque, Inc. The company name sounds familiar, and Yìchén realizes he’s come across it before on this feed. He had assumed it was entirely fictional. It is not. The world will pay for his mistake.
