One of my favorite memories growing up was watching Return of the Jedi in the theater and when they removed Vader's mask, my Dad loudly commenting "that is NOT James Earl Jones" lmao
He didn't even let himself get credited in the films until Return at his request (I think he's credited in the SE versions now)
A quick Google says David Prowse only met James Earl Jones in 2012, which seems sad.
I think all of us in the theater were completely confused by the reveal: Who the heck is THAT guy?

As someone who grew up with the German dub, it's pretty crazy how close the German voice actor's voice is to the original. And tbh in some places I prefer the dub. (I guess technically both are dubs)
